About Me
Hi there! My name is Daan and I work as a freelance advisor, interim and project manager (PMP®). Over the last 17 years, I have gathered experience as consultant and line manager, merely in the energy and professional services sectors.
In 2013, I came from the Netherlands to Germany to pursue a business opportunity. It turned out to be a life-changing event. In Munich, I met my wife and together with our two kids we now live in the village of Pfaffing, a 40-minute drive from Munich and close to the Chiemsee and Chiemgauer Alps. Already as a kid, I loved the mountains and now, looking at them from my house, I guess the circle is complete.
Another circle was closed moving back into consultancy in 2021, after having worked as a line manager for the last years. I decided to put my dream of setting up my own business into practice to dedicate the next period in my career to advising and supporting various organisations.
In my work, I am dedicated to creating purpose, putting people first and triggering energy and movement. People who have worked with me typify me as someone who creates a story, leads by example and will make things work. I prefer acting in international environments and am business fluent in Dutch, English and German. You can expect me to be constructively critical, committed, accurate, solution-oriented and motivated by tangible results and personal growth.

I use my broad corporate management experience with compliance risk in the areas of finance, IT, information management, procurement & competition, employment, governance and HSE, to support businesses with risk assessments, codes of conduct or other policies & standards and awareness training.
